What this site does not do
No trackers. No audience measurement. No advertising. The site stores only what it needs to work: a rdl_lang cookie, which remembers the language you chose (one year), a session cookie if you sign in to your account (thirty days), and the currency you chose, kept in your browser. No font, image or script is loaded from another site: everything comes from larosedeslangues.com, including the characters you are reading now.
That is why you see no consent banner: these cookies, which the service you ask for cannot do without, do not require one.
What is recorded
- Server
logs - IP address, page requested, time, browser reported. They are used to make the site work and to spot an attack. Lawful basis: legitimate interest. Retention: ninety days at most.
- Delivery
address - When you type an address, the letters entered pass through our server to the geocoding service Photon (komoot GmbH, Germany), which suggests existing addresses. It receives neither your IP address, nor your name, nor any other field, and our server does not record what you type.
- Order
- Your name, your delivery address, your email address, your phone number if you give it, the map chosen and its price. They are used to make the map, deliver it and keep you informed. Your bank card details never pass through our server: you enter them on Stripe's page. Lawful basis: performance of the contract, then our accounting obligations. Retention: ten years for what justifies the sale (Code de commerce, art. L.123-22), the rest erased at the end of the guarantee.
- Customer
account - Optional. Your name, your email address, a fingerprint of your password — never the password itself — and the list of your orders. They are used to sign you in and to follow your orders. Legal basis: performance of the service you request. Retention: as long as the account exists; it is deleted on simple request.
There is no newsletter, no profiling and no automated decision-making. Your email address is never sold, rented or passed on to anyone.
Who has access to it
The publisher, the host OVH SAS (server in Warsaw, Poland), and, for an order only: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland), which takes the payment; the printer chosen for your map — Prodigi (United Kingdom), Printful (United States), Gelato (Norway) or Cloudprinter (Netherlands) — and the carrier, which receive the name, the delivery address and, for the carrier, the telephone number. The printer makes the map as close to you as possible: a map delivered outside the European Union is printed there, and the address goes with it.
Every page passes through the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which protects it from attacks and serves it from as close to you as possible: for this it sees your IP address and the page requested. This transfer outside the European Union relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare is certified.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of its processing or its portability, and you may object to its processing. A line to [email protected] is enough, with no reason to be given; the reply comes within one month.
